I like books. In fact, I love books and I love owning quite a few of them. So after reading this post about sewing and this book review I decided to order a couple of books for myself online.
Typically, I have yet to sit down properly with the books & have a good thorough read.
'Bend the Rules Sewing' has some ever-so-cute patterns that appeal to my twee side, though does assume a certain amount of knowledge on the readers' part; a little off-putting for something that is supposed to have beginner-suitable projects. However, with a little google-fu I'm sure I will be able to follow everything in it.
'Poems of Colour' has a fascinating section on the history of the Bohus knitting group, and some patterns including the gorgeous Wild Apple Yoke pullover... though I imagine it will be a while before I take on something quite that intricate.
I think it might be time to buy some new, bigger bookshelves...
