Yes, more gratuitous shots of cute animals that belong to other people. Jasmine, above, is a female ginger cat, which I understand is quite rare, who loves to play with toys & anything that you can dangle & drag along the floor. She has clearly perfected the art of looking unimpressed.

She's only looking unimpressed because you woke her up. She's usually a lovely cat. Here's your scienc-y bit only about 25 % of ginger cats are female, so only rare-ish. It's because female cats need to have the ginger gene on both chromosomes (xx) while the males only need it on one (i.e. the x of their xy!. Ber
